Rules and Regulations:
Preregistration with number of animals and pens should be sent to Fisher Community Fair Goat Show, P.O. Box 764, Fisher, IL 61843.0764.
Entries in this department must be post marked no later than Friday, July 1, 2011.
Animals will be accepted between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thurs¬day, July 14, 2011.
Animals arriving later will be refused and no refunds will be made.
Release of exhibitors will be Saturday, July 16, 2011.
The entry fee, pen fee and ticket fees must accompany entries. No entries accepted unless these fees are paid at the time of making entries.
Pens will not be assigned by the superintendents. Pens are free choice.
All rules governing exhibition, judging, and awarding of prizes will be interpreted by the superintendent in accordance with the rules of ADGA.
This show has been officially sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association and rosette will be awarded by AGDA.
Junior and senior shows, all Other Purebreds are separately sanc¬tioned.
Show order is as follows: Nubian, Saanen, Alpine, LaMancha, Toggen¬burg, Oberhasli, and Recorded Grade.
All dairy goats to the exhibited breeing classes are to be purebred and registered in recognized record association of their respective breeds.
All animals must be accompanied by registration papers and have a tattoo if breeding association so requires. Photocopies of registration papers are not acceptable.
No horned animals or males will be allowed on the grounds.
No more than two monies to each exhibitor in a class will be allowed.
Group class animals must be owned by the same exhibitor unless otherwise stated. All animals in group classes must be shown in individual classes.
There will be no pre-show milkouts.
Goats, including dairy goats, with any or all of the following condi¬tions shall not be exhibited and be removed immediately from the exhibition area:
Lesions of cantagious ecthyma (sore mouth)
Active lesions of ringworm with resulting loss of hair
Caseous lymphadenities as evidence by draining abscesses, Bru¬cellosis, and tuberculin tests are not required for goats entering, moving, or being exhibited in Illinois.
